As part of the UUJ 1st year Sports Studies Students degree course some are currently undertaking the IRFU Mini Rugby Coaching Course. This is being run in conjunction with the IRFU (Ulster Branch), UUJ Sports Studies and UU Sports Development Unit. This course is designed to improve the students coaching ability and knowledge and when accreditated it will cover them to work with player up to the age of 12 years old.
